  2. Next, order the necessary materials, including a pondless waterfall kit, stones, and tools.
  3. Begin digging your stream, ensuring it’s wide and deep enough for the stones and liners.
  4. Install the pumps, pipes, and filters, then line the area with stone gravel.
  5. Spread the liner for the stream and add the stones, arranging them to your liking.
  6. Fill in any gaps with sealant and trim any excess liner.
  7. Finally, add water to the appropriate level, turn on your pump, and enjoy your new pondless waterfall and stream.

A pondless waterfall generally needs to be refilled weekly, although hot weather conditions might demand more frequent top-ups. If the waterfall’s reservoir is small, you’ll need to check and refill it more regularly to prevent potential damage to the pump from operating without water.

Maintaining a pondless water feature involves several steps. After installation, check the structures and ensure the reservoir edges are above the water level. Regularly remove debris from the waterfall, either by hand or by turning off the water and blowing out the debris. Keep an eye on algae growth and remove it by hand, treating the area with an environmentally friendly algaecide if necessary. Despite the water in a pondless waterfall being recycled, it will eventually evaporate, so replenish your waterfall once a week, or more frequently in hot weather.
